Hyderabad: Elaborate arrangements have been made for the conduct of EAMCET-2017 across Telangana State on May 12 for admissions into engineering, agriculture and pharma courses.
As many as 220,070 candidates have registered for EAMCET this year. They include 141,054 candidates for Engineering and 79,013 for Agriculture and Pharma courses. While 246 examinations centres have been set up for engineering test, agriculture and pharma test will be conducted at 154 centres.
EAMCET Convener Prof. N. Yadaiah informed that the EAMCET for engineering students will be conducted on May 12 from 10 AM to 1 PM while the test for agriculture and pharma courses will be held from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
He said candidates will not be allowed entry into examination hall if they are late even by one minute. He said bio-metric attendance would be taken to prevent impersonation and other irregularities. (INN)
