Uttam reviews arrangements for Rahul Gandhi’s visit

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the visit of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to Sangareddy on June 1.

Accompanied with senior leaders, Uttam Kumar Reddy visited the Begumpet Airport where Rahul Gandhi would reach in a special aircraft at about 3.30 PM. He then proceeded to Rajiv Chowk at Somajiguda where Rahul Gandhi would pay floral tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi before leaving for Sangareddy in a massive bike rally while passing throiugh Erragadda, Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Patencheruvu.

Uttam Kumar Reddy also informed that Rahul Gandhi would interact with some aggrieved sections like chilli farmers and jobless youth at Sangareddy Guest House.

After addressing the ‘Telangana Praja Garjana’ at Ambedkar Stadium at 6 PM, Rahul Gandhi will return to Hyderabad by road and leave for Delhi from Begumpet Airport.

AICC Secretary R.C. Khuntia, Leader of Opposition in Council Shabbir Ali, ex-MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, ex-MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy, TPCC Vice-President Mallu Ravi, Treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy and other senior leaders were also present. (INN)
