CS reviews arrangements for President’s visit

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary S.P. Singh has directed the officials to make better arrangements for the visit of President of India Pranab Mukherjee to Hyderabad on June 23.

The Chief Secretary reviewed the arrangements in a high level meeting held at the State Secretariat on Monday.

He informed that the President would participate in the inaugural ceremony of Golbal Strategic Alliance World Divine Congress being organised by NRI Seva Foundation at Shilpa Kala Vedika on June 23.

The President will arrive at Begumpet Airport at 12 Noon and will return to New Delhi after attending the function from 12.30 PM to 1.30 PM.

He asked the officials to ensure proper maintenance of roads and other arrangements especially in view of rainy season. It was also decided to erect welcome arches in honour of the President of India.

GAD Principal Secretary Aadhar Sinha, Ranga Reddy Collector Raghunanda Rao, top police officials Krishna Prasad, Shahnawaz Qasim and other officials participated in the review meeting. (INN)
