Haj Pilgrims advised to practice walking more

Hyderabad: The fifth Haj Orientation Training Camp for the selected Haj pilgrims was conducted at Balanagar today.

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan presided over and advised the pilgrims to take care of their health and practice for walking.

He said that Khadim-ul-Hujjaj (Haj Officers) have been selected for guiding and helping the pilgrims during Haj in Saudi Arabia.

Executive Officer Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor described the procedures and regulations about Haj journey and details about luggage.

He said that draw for free accommodation in Rubath in Makkah will take place on Tuesday. A total of 1286 pilgrims will get benefit from this facility, he said.

Renowned scholar Moulana Mufti Sadeq Mohiuddin Faheem spoke about Haj and Umrah rituals, while Moulana Mufti Arifuddin spoke about visiting the holy city of Madeena.

Irfan Shareef described the logistic arrangements. Mohammed Shakeel Siddiqui, President Telangana Muslim Minority Welfare Association welcomed. Narender Acharya, Corporator, Sabiha Ghousuddin Corporator and Mir Mohtasam Ali Khan were also present on this occasion. (INN)
