CM puts official machinery on alert to deal with rain fury

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the official machinery to be alert and vigilant in view of the heavy rain forecast in the coming three to four days.

The Chief Minister asked Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi to issue instructions to ensure all concerned officials to be in the respective work place and coordinate with all the departments and take necessary steps.

He Instructed the Ministers to be available in their respective districts and constantly review and monitor the situation and if necessary take up the required relief activities. In view of the necessity of the Ministers to stay in the respective districts, the proposed cabinet meet scheduled for Monday the 9th July stands postponed. (INN)
