Karimnagar student tops TSICET with 154 marks

A student from Karimnagar district topped recently held Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) 2016 exam.

G Varun, a native of Sircilla, scored 154 to secure first rank in the exam. It is to be noted that IT Minister KTR represents Sircilla Constituency in Telangana Assembly. He studied B.Sc in Nizam College.

The TSICET examination is a qualifying criteria for admissions into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) in the newly formed 29th state of India.

Results of this year test was announced yesterday. The exam was held on 19th May 2016 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m across 127 government and government-aided test centres in Telangana.

The TSICET-2016 Examination was conducted by Kakatiya University. A total of 127 chief superintendents, 34 special observers and 140 local observers ensured smooth commencement of the exam.

About 72,474 candidates registered for TSICET-2016, out of which 66,510 candidates appeared for the test, according to TSICET Convener Prof. K. Omprakash.
