Hyderabad: The Congress party has made elaborate arrangements for day-long visit of AICC president Rahul Gandhi to Telangana State on Saturday.
As per the schedule, Rahul Gandhi would visit Nanded and take a helicopter to Bhainsa to address a public meeting at 12.30 pm. Later, he will visit Kamareddy by helicopter and address another meeting at 2.30 pm. He will then come to Hyderabad by helicopter and land at Begumpet Airport.
He will reach Charminar to participate in the Rajiv Sadbhavana Commemoration Day event from 5 pm to 6 pm. After the meeting, he will leave for Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) to take a regular flight for Delhi.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has reviewed the arrangements for the meetings with Congress leaders and gave necessary instructions.
AICC Telangana Incharge R.C. Khuntia and other leaders visited Kamareddy and also Bhainsa to inspect the arrangements at the venue. Several senior leaders of Congress party has already arrived in Hyderabad on Friday to oversee the preparations.
