Two judges suspended by High Court in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, INN: Taking serious note on the rally of judges on Sunday, the Hyderabad High Court has suspended two judges for allegedly instigating the Telangana judicial officers to go on agitation path and knocking the doors of Raj Bhavan on the issue of division of judges.

President of Telangana Judges Association K Ravinder Reddy and secretary Varaprasa were suspended by the Hyderabad High Court.

As many as 120 judicial officers have submitted their resignation letters and handed over them to Ravinder Reddy and asked him to pass on to the Governor after July 2 if the High Court refuses to rescind its order of June 3 which allots judicial officers.

The agitating judges have also cast aspersion on the High Court of Judicature saying it is showing some proclivity towards Andhra Pradesh.

They alleged that as many as 126 judges having AP roots were posted in Telangana districts which denied their legitimate right to work in their native state.
