Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and performed “Milk Abhishekam” to CM’s Photo at GHMC Head Office, along with corporators for allocating Rs.10,000 Crores to GHMC in 2020-21 Budget, for all round development of Hyderabad.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, the Mayor thanked the Chief Minister and Minister K. Tarakarama Rao’s efforts in getting the much required funds to GHMC from Government.
He said a Master Plan was being prepared to provide facilities/ infrastructure to develop Hyderabad city on par with other world class cities.
With Rs. 10,000 Crores, he said works would be taken up to improve and develop facilities like sewerage, storm water drainage, corridor improvement, junction improvement, water, electricity, FOBs, Under pass, skyways, footpath, and Nala widening etc.,
He said efforts would be made to turn Hyderabad into the most preferred tourist destination by measures like beautification of Musi River front. (INN)
