Educational institue Aakash announces scholarship exam for 2016

Aakash Educational Services has announced its scholarship exam Aakash National Talent Hunt (ANTHE) for 2016. The exam is categorized into ANTHE (Senior) and ANTHE (Junior).

The institute, which trains aspiring doctors and engineers, said the exam will be conducted on October 23, 2016 across 22 different states in India.

Last date for receiving application for the scholarship exam is October 14, 2016 with an examination fee of Rs. 300 for ANTHE (Senior) and Rs.200 for ANTHE (Junior).

Students who enroll for ANTHE (Senior) have to appear for a sum total of 360 marks, while ANTHE (Junior) have to appear for a sum of 320 marks.

“Top 750 students will be awarded with 100% rebate on their tuition fee and will also be eligible for cash prizes, out of which 150 will be from medical stream, 150 from the engineering stream and 150 students each from classes VII, VIII and IX,” Aakash noted.

The total amount of 100% scholarships in fee given by AESPL for ANTHE is Rs. 8.64 crores and the cash prize sums up to Rs. 72.5 Lacs.

The scholarship is divided in two categories for the medical aspirants and engineering aspirants. These two categories are further divided into three sub-categories each in order of the ANTHE ranks earned by the students. The students holding ranks from 1st to 150th shall enjoy 100% rebate from tuition fee, admission fee and registration fee.

Students standing between151st to 300th Rank are entitled to pay only the registration fee along with a 75% rebate from the tuition fee for Medical aspirants and 95% rebate from the tuition fee for Engineering aspirants.

Medical aspirants holding ranks from 301st to 450th shall receive a 70% waiver from the tuition fee. Whereas, engineering aspirants holding ranks from 301st -650th will be entitled for 85% waiver from the tuition fee.

Students holding positions from 451 rank (in Medical) onwards shall receive waivers ranging from 65%- 25% in the tuition fee depending upon the categorization by the institute in Engineering, students securing positions from 651 onwards shall received waivers ranging from 75% – 35%.

The Cash prizes amounting to Rs 72.5 Lacs will be awarded to top 750 students (Senior & Junior).To win the cash awards, it is mandatory for top 300 students (150 in Medical, 150 in Engineering) and 450 in Foundations to enroll for the DLP Course before 31st December, 2016.

The students will have to fill separate enrollment form for DLP. No additional fee will be charged for DLP Course. Students paying for their registration fee, admission fee and tuition fee (1st installment) on or before 31st December 2016, shall be given free Aakash iTutor access to record video lectures till 31st March, 2017 enabling the students to perform better in their school/board exam.

The countrywide talent hunt spans across the states of Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

AESPL also announced that more centers of ANTHE can be created on request from the students or parents subject to a minimum enrollment of 100 at a Center.
