Hyderabad:Â Education Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy launched the works of Osmania University administrative building on Wednesday.
Sabitha Indira Reddy informed that the new administrative building would also be completed in nine months’ time. She said that the State Government recently inaugurated a new hostel building constructed at a cost of Rs. 38 crore. She said that the State Government was trying to bring about changes in the people’s lives by making changes in the education system.
Speaking on the occasion, OU Vice Chancellor Prof. D. Ravinder said that the admin building was 60 years old and thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for sanctioning a new building for the university. He said that it was a matter of pride for him that he was working as the Vice Chancellor of the university where he studied.The new administrative building would be helpful in reaching out to the students and functioning, said the Vice Chancellor.
