KCR unfurls the BRS flag at Telangana Bhavan

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the TRS party chief unfurled the new party flag of Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Friday in a grand ceremony at the party headquarters Telangana Bhavan.

Janata Dal Secular (JDS) head Kumara Swamy, cinema actor Prakash Raj, representatives of various farmer groups from different states, state ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other party functionaries participated in the program. Before unfurling the flag KCR signed the papers of the BRS party sent by the Election Commission of India. Special puja programs were held on this occasion in the party office.

Speaking on the occasion, CM KCR vowed to hoist the pink flag on Red Fort. He said that the BRS party office works would be launched in Delhi on December 14. He held the first session of the BRS in the party office on this occasion.

CM KCR said that BRS was established in order to bring dynamic changes in the country and said that people needed to win in the elections, not the political parties. He said that India needed the new financial policy today. He further said that a new environmental policy needed to be adopted in the country today.Stating that the country needed new policies to see real women empowerment he said that the farmers would be in power in the coming days. He informed that BRS would soon stipulate new policies. He said that BRS would start from Karnataka in ensuring elections and wished that Kumara Swami become the CM of Karnataka. (INN)
