Nursing students injured in accident in Nalgonda

Hyderabad: Several Nursing students were severely injured when their college bus was hit by a speeding lorry from behind near Nakrekal of Nalgonda district on Monday. The college bus turned turtle in the incident.

On receiving the information, police reached the spot and shifted the injured students to government hospital for treatment. They were later shifted to Suryapet hospital for better treatment. There were 30 students in the bust when the accident occurred. The bus belonged to Aparna Nursing College of Suryapet.Meanwhile, Health Minister T Harish Rao responded to the incident and asked the doctors to provide the students better treatment. He spoke to the officials concerned in this regard. Officials have informed that 15 students were injured and all were out of danger. The minister also spoke to the superintendent of the Suryapet hospital. (INN)
