TS with 3% of the population bagged 30% of awards: KTR

Hyderabad: IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao expressed pride in the confidence and courage of aspiring young entrepreneurs and assured that the government would support ST entrepreneurs.

He announced that beneficiaries of the CM Tribal Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CMSTEI) scheme will be exempt from municipal tax. Alongside Ministers Satyavati Rathore and Mahmood Ali, KTR distributed units to 24 tribal entrepreneurs at Banjara Bhawan in Hyderabad.

He noted that the COVID-19 pandemic had blurred caste distinctions in society and emphasized that economic development would help eliminate caste differences. KTR outlined innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive growth as three principles for national development. He expressed concern over the lack of innovation from India, despite Indians leading global companies as CEOs, and criticized the central government for ignoring Telangana’s achievements.KTR highlighted that Telangana, representing 3% of India’s population, won 30% of the panchayat awards and urged for more support for young entrepreneurs. ST entrepreneurs will receive encouragement through the municipal department, and KTR clarified that Telangana is the only state with an industrial health clinic. (INN)
