Hyderabad: The Telangana government is celebrating Education Day on Tuesday as part of the statehood decade celebrations. The day is being marked by a series of events across the state, including the inauguration of new schools, the distribution of scholarships, and the felicitation of teachers.
In a Tweet, IT and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao said that education is the foundation of a strong society. He said that the Telangana government is committed to providing quality education to all children in the state.
“Development is with education. Self-confidence is increasing with education. The Telangana government has literally proved how to improve the educational and learning atmosphere in the state,” Rama Rao Tweeted.
He said that the ‘Mana Ooru Mana Badi’ program has brought about radical changes in government schools. “26,000 schools have got a new look,” he said.KTR extended his warmest wishes to all the students and teachers on the occasion of Education Day. (INN)
