Kailash Satyarthi plants saplings under Green India Challenge

Hyderabad: Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and MP Santosh Kumar planted saplings at the IIIT Campus in Gachibowli as part of the Green India Challenge program. The program was organized by the Green India Challenge Foundation and was attended by IIIT Professor PJ Narayan, students, and founder members of the foundation.

Satyarthi appreciated the efforts of MP Santosh Kumar for taking up the Green India Challenge with the intention of providing a better environment for future generations. He said that it is a good thing to move forward with the goal of making everyone live happily on this earth.Santosh Kumar said that he was happy to see Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi participating in the Green India Challenge 6.0 inaugural program and planting saplings. He vowed to encourage the planting of trees all over the world. (INN)
