Hyderabad: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar officially took charge charge in his office on the fifth floor of the Secretariat in the presence of his family members and department officials on Monday.
Earlier, he performed pooja with the family members. Along with the officials, some Congress MLAs also attended and congratulated him on accepting this responsibility and expressed his best wishes.
Ponnam Prabhakar signed three files related to RTC and the Transport Department. The first file related to the subsidy on bus passes of Rs.212.50 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2023-24, and the second file related to the release of Rs.162.50 crore for the third quarter of the financial year 2023-24. The third file which was signed by the minister was related to the approval of mediclaim of Rs 1 lakh rupees to Head Transport Constable L Rajya Lakshmi.On this occasion, State Ministers Tummala Nageshwar Rao and Juppali Krishna Rao, MLAs Vivek, A Srinivas, and MLC Jeevan Reddy congratulated the Minister.
