KTR urges Congress Govt to fulfill job promises

Hyderabad: BRS Working President K Tarakarama Rao emphasised the need for the Congress Government in Telangana to support the unemployed, reiterating the promises made during the assembly elections. KTR demanded the immediate release of the job calendar, as pledged by the Congress party.

KTR met with a group of unemployed individuals at his residence in Nandi Nagar, Banjara Hills, on Thursday. During the meeting, various issues were brought to his attention. He provided guidance to students preparing for Group 1, Group 2, and other government job exams. Speaking to the media afterwards, KTR criticised the Congress government for not delivering on its promises.

The unemployed expressed frustration that Congress had made several commitments but failed to implement them. KTR highlighted that Revanth Reddy had promised to increase Group-2 jobs by 2,000, yet no progress has been made. The Congress had also announced a “Mega DSC” for teacher recruitment and pledged to release a job calendar, but these assurances remain unfulfilled.

KTR reminded the public of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka’s previous demand for a 1:100 ratio selection process for Group-1 mains examinations, urging the government to uphold this promise. He called for exams to be scheduled to allow candidates ample time to prepare.KTR declared that the day would come when the unemployed would lead the charge against the current government, demanding the fulfillment of their rightful demands. (INN)
