Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday, gave green signal for land acquisition to the Telangana State government.
Delivering its verdict, the High Court said the government should not acquire land forcefully.
The court also made it clear that the victims have to file a petition in the Court in this regard but not political parties and warned that it would not accept the petition if the rule was ignored.
The State government submitted G.O.No.190 meant for rehabilitation for displaced people to the Court by making small amendments in the G.O. Responding on it, the High Court directed the State government not to evict the people till rehabilitation works were implemented. (INN)
