Hyderabad: TRS on Friday launched a scathing attack on Congress and TD accusing it of trying to stall the development of the state.
Speaking to media persons party MLAs Guvvala Balaraj and A Venkateshwar Reddy slammed the Opposition alleging that they were trying to create hurdles at a time when the TRS government was paving way for the development of districts like Mahbubnagar rendered backward by the previous Congress and TD government’s wrong policies.
The MLAs said that Congress and TD leaders were pursuing opportunistic politics by faulting the TRS government’s irrigation projects.
The TRS leaders alleged that DK Aruna, who was a minster in the Congress government, did nothing for the development of the district but now is raising objections at the pro-farmer works of the TRS government.
The TRS MLAs warned that the people of the state would teach a fitting lesson for the Congress and TD if they continue to create hurdles in the development of the state. (INN)
