Young Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya inaugurated new branch of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Madeenaguda area of Hyderabad, Telangana.
Speaking at the launch of the super specialty eye care center, the ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ actor said he felt extremely delighted to inaugurate the new center.
“I am confident the centre will take the clinical excellence that Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital has been synonymous with to a higher notch and set new standards for eye care treatment in Hyderabad,” said the son of Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Spread over 6000 sq. ft., the center will act as a secondary eye care hospital. The center will offer treatments for diseases such as Cataract, Refractive Errors, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular degeneration, Squint, Cornea conditions, Cosmetic Oculoplasty, UVEA, Pediatric Care and Computer Vision Syndrome.
Dr. Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals director Dr. Ashvin Agarwal says their goal is to redefine eye care in India.
“The opening of the new clinic is an extension of our vision to provide quality eye care to one and all in the city. The new center will serve as a one-stop solution for all the ophthalmic needs of the residents in the region,” he added.
Dr. Vamisidhar, Medical Director- Hyderabad Region, said the Phakonit and Pre-Descemet’s Endothelial Keratoplasty treatment models were invented at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.
“The new center will give the citizens of the city an opportunity to experience this as well as the best and the latest in eye care treatment,” added Dr. Vamisidhar.
The new center will be furnished with best-in-class equipment and trained staff, expressed Dr. Jyothsna, Medical Director of Madeenaguda branch.

In addition, Naga Chaitanya extended his support towards the eye donation awareness campaign of Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.
