Karimnagar: BJP General Secretary Muralidhar Rao along with district BJP leaders on Sunday visited the rain-hit areas under the Mid-Manair Dam, and the submerged villages Manuwada and Kandikatkur.
The BJP team inspected the damaged crop in the villages and assured the farmers of all help from the state government and the Centre.
Muralidhar Rao later participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Sircilla on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Speaking to the media, the BJP leader said that the clean drive started by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now become a mass movement. (INN)
