1500 schools to get digital classes

Hyderabad: In a major boost to school education in the state, as many as 1,500 high schools are all set to go digital from November 14. The decision was taken at a review meeting of the school education chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari held here on Friday.

Gurukul Schools, Social Welfare schools, ZP Schools and Kasturba Gandhi Schools will also be covered under the project, the sources said.

Srihari asked the officials to make the necessary arrangements like providing infrastructure in these schools and train the teachers to conduct digital classes.

He also directed the officials to prepare a schedule to offer training to teachers in colleges identified in all districts from November 10. The decision to conduct digital classes was taken at the recent Cabinet meeting, the Deputy CM informed. (INN)
