Govt encouraging mobile banking: Venkaiah

Hyderabad: Union Minister for Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu said that the Centre was encouraging mobile banking among the common people.

Speaking to media persons here, Venkaiah Naidu said that efforts are on to make common people to adopt mobile banking and use other e-platforms for regular transactions.

He said that the government is taking steps in this regard and asked the state government to do their bit in this regard.

Slamming the Opposition parties, the Union Minister said that they were creating needles ruckus in Parliament even though the government is ready to discuss all issues regarding demonetization.

He said that it was unfortunate that the Opposition parties were criticizing the government for taking a bold step to curb black money. (INN)
