Hyderabad: GHCM Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, along with concerned Corporators and public representatives of their respective areas, are conducting Padayathras as a part of Swachh Survekshan involving citizens to come forward to participate in the programme duly dialing 1969 to get top rank in the Swachh Survekshan programme which is scheduled to be held next month.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor on Saturday visited Devarakonda, Banjara Hills, Vengalrao Nagar, Kachiguda and took out rallys along with the concerned Corporators in their respective wards. They interacted with the citizens and appealed them to take part in the Swachh Survekshan programme.
The Mayor directed the Swachh auto drivers not to accept the garbage waste from the households if they have not segregated the wet and dry separately.
Meanwhile, Animal Husbandry Ministry Talasani Srinivas Yadav, along with the concerned Corporators and senior officials of the North Zone, participated in Padayathra at Bansilalpet and briefed the residents about the Swachh Survekshan. (INN)
