Mahindra Rise, an initiative of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has roped in Bollywood superstar Nawazuddin Siddiqui to raise awareness about deplorable conditions of Indian farmers.
Farmers are struggling everyday and season to reach even break-even for their investment in agriculture, primarily to vagaries of weather. Betrayed by the weather and facing tough circumstances, now they are in need help from fellow human beings and Indians.
Mumbai-based Mahindra aims at: “Rise is a call to action. To challenge the status quo. To constantly seek new and better solutions. And to always work to make the world a better place.” It now asks Indians to donate at www.seedtherise.com to improve the lives of Indian farmers.
