Governor reviews the petitions received in Suggestions and Grievance Box at the Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday reviewed the Raj Bhavan staff officers on the petitions received in the Suggestions and Grievances Box at the Raj Bhavan and the follow-up action taken on the petitions.

The Governor stressed the need for an empathetical examination of each and every petition received from the public sharing their ideas, suggestions, and grievances with the Raj Bhavan. It is a wonderful opportunity for all Raj Bhavan Officers and Staff to serve the people of the State. The Raj Bhavan can act as a catalyst in getting the grievances redressed at the quickest possible time if not the prime solver of the petitions. The Raj Bhavan will then become a bridge between the government, its agencies and the people.

Till now 181 petitions have been received. Among others, most of the petitions are in the categories of land issues, service matters, job notifications and financial help.

The Governor motivated the officers to be more proactive and humane while dealing with the suggestions/grievances and see that all are attended to positively in a time-bound mannerSecretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan and other Raj Bhavan officials participated in this review. (INN)
