Rural Institute for Skill Empowerment to start new batch for Skills Development and Training

Hyderabad: Rural Institute for Skill Empowerment (RISE) is starting a new batch to impart skills development and training in the areas of solar energy installation and computers. The training will be given to unemployed SC youth for a period of 3 months. The skills development programme is under the aegis of the TELANGANA SCHEDULED CASTES CO-OPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD.

The skills development and training programme will be held at the Rural Institute for Skill Empowerment training centre located in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Apart from training on solar energy installation and computers, the youth will be given basic soft skills and communication training. The programme is inclusive of free accommodation and food to ensure that the youth can focus on their training without having to travel to and from the Training Centre.

The minimum qualification for this training programme is that the applicants need to be 10th and/or 12th pass and between 18-25 years of age. Unemployed SC youth, who wish to avail of this training, will have to submit 2 passport size photographs, Educational certificates, Caste Certificate, and Aadhar Card to the Rural Institute for Skill Empowerment. The last date for submitting the document and enrolling in the programme is 21 December 2022. Speaking at the launch of the new batch, E Kannan, Chief Executive Officer, Rural Institute for Skill Empowerment said, “This is a good opportunity for the unemployed SC youth, in Telangana, to get trained in solar energy installation and computers. These skills are currently in demand, and we are confident that we will generate employment opportunities for everyone. RISE’ Training Methodology with emphasis on technical skills, soft skills and communication, ensure that the youth trained by us are readily picked up by companies.”

The training programme will be of 3-months duration. During the training, the youth will be trained on technical skills, soft skills and communication by expert and tenured trainers. The training will have classroom sessions as well as hands-on training which is specially designed by RISE.
