Hyderabad: The deadline for TS EDCET applications for admissions in BED colleges in the state has been extended once again. Eligible candidates can apply online till May 1 without paying any late fee. EDSET Convener Professor A Ramakrishna has issued an announcement that the application deadline has been extended to May 1 as per the requests of the candidates. Eligible candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible and select the examination centres nearest to them.General and BC students have to pay Rs.700, and SC, ST and disabled students have to pay Rs.500 as registration fees. Candidates can download their hall tickets from 5th May. EDCET will be held on May 18 in AP and Telangana states. EDCET was earlier organized by Osmania University. This year Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda has been entrusted with the management responsibilities. (INN)
