Good career, salary and working conditions in IAF: Capt. Prabat

Join Indian Air Force (IAF) for good career, salary, and working conditions, advised Ex. Wing-Commander of IAF Capt. Prabat to aerospace engineering students at GITAM University.

Delivering a guest lecture on ‘Aviation Trends and Modern Development’ at the Hyderabad campus of the university yesterday, the Indigo Airlines pilot said there’s a good scope in IAF for present generation.

“Indian Air force has good scope in the present Generation. So many candidates have the dream to join the force,” he said.

“If the candidates will get the job in the Indian Air Force, they will have the good career, good salary and also good working condition,” Captain Prabat opined.

He has a long career of 29 years, 10,000 flying hours experience on ten different flights. The lecture was organized by Aerospace Engineering Department of GITAM University.

Capt. Prabat said that military aviation slowly flooded with engineers and these days cutting edge technology is available.

“Pilot became systems engineer. Computers are defending the flights. Safety margin was drawn in a big way. Automation is using fully,” he informed the students.

Further, he remarked that India is the second largest aviation industry in the world and riding high with over 8% economic growth.
