PM on a two-day visit of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit of Hyderabad beginning from November 25.

According to sources the PM is scheduled to inaugurate the conference of DGPs to be held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad from November 25-27.

Sources said that issues like cross-border terrorism, infiltration and radicalisation of youths will top the agenda of annual police chiefs meet.

Impact on circulation of fake Indian currency notes after denomination of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes, filling up of vacant posts in various police forces, reforms in police forces would also be discussed during the conference, sources said.

The Prime Minister and Home Minister would interact with the top police officers on the prevailing internal security situation and various aspects of police personnel, the sources said. (INN)
