Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha will inaugurate the orientation programme of Urdu journalists of north Telangana districts being organised by Telangana Urdu Journalists Forum (TUJF) at Bhoomareddy Convention Hall in Nizamabad on Sunday.
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Nizamabad Mayor Akula Sujatha, ZP Chairman Dafedar Raju, MLAs B. Ganesh Gupta, Mohd Shakeel Aamer, Baji Reddy Goverdhan, A. Jeevan Reddy and Prashant Reddy and District Collector Dr. Yogita Rana will attend the inaugural session which will be presided by TUJF President M.A. Majid.
Nizamabad Police Commissioner Kartekeya, Telangana Redco Chairman S.A. Aleem, Minority Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, Youth Services Commissioner M.A. Azeem, I&PR Commissioner Naveen Mittal, Urdu Academy Director S.A. Shukoor, MCN Deputy Mayor M.A. Faheem will also participate in the inaugural session.
The valedictory function will be attended by Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir, MLC Akula Lalitha and other dignitaries.
The orientation programme, to be addressed by eminent journalists, will cover topics like Media Ethics, Role of Communication Skills for Youth, Welfare Schemes: Role of Media and Responsibilities of Mufasil Journalists. (INN)
