A golden era for women’s education under KCR: K Kavitha

Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha said that Telangana state has become a golden era for girls’ education today under the rule of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Kavitha said that about 72 per cent in the Post Graduation courses, 52 per cent in degree courses and 69 per cent of the students in residential schools and KGBVs were girls. She lauded these figures and said that Telangana was ahead in girl child education and women’s education across the country. She said that despite the hurdles created by the union government in the allotment of medical colleges, Telangana state stood ahead in medical education.The BRS MLC said that she was proud to see women enrolling for all the forward subjects and achieving great success. (INN)
